Delegates are initially screened using a detailed and thorough research process by Citywire to ensure that they match the criteria for the intended event. Depending on the event, those criteria include assets under management, influence, seniority, job function and so on. If a delegate accepts the invitation, they then undergo a further process of collecting detailed relevant information on their business.

Sponsors can indicate the delegates who are most relevant and less relevant to meet; you will receive the list 4 weeks prior to the event. Choices will indicate which delegates you wish to have in your workshops and be seated with for meals. The sooner delegate choices are made the higher the chance that your expectations can be met.
You will receive a summary of your delegates who will attend your workshops and sit at your table 1-2 weeks before the event.

There will be a screen provided in your workshop room, to which you can connect your own laptop or hire one from our external AV team at an additional cost along with a clicker.

You will also have the options to display the following in the room:

Maximum 2 roller banners or equivalent signage (to be displayed in workshop room/ area)
1 box of additional literature and/or presentations

In line with our continued Citywire Events sustainability drive we are looking to reduce wastage and create greener event environments. We are reducing collateral being shipped to events, working with a carbon neutral AV provider and working with our host hotels to reduce our carbon impact.

The delegates want to know what makes the fund manager they are hearing from different to others in their sector. It is a good idea to explain how investment decisions are made, the philosophy of the manager, the managing process and how this is reflected in the portfolios. Too much background information on the provider firm is generally not well received.

Do discuss stock/bond selections and the performance of these, including examples of high performance as well as justifying lower performance. Delegates will be interested in the manager’s point of view on relevant macroeconomic themes and how these affect the portfolio, as well as hearing the case for investing in a particular sector if it is something more niche.
