Citywire Selector Symposium 2025
Citywire will gather together the key product selectors and investment allocators from the leading private banks, wealth managers and families in Singapore for a morning of industry sharing, networking and debate.
This closed-door conversation between peers will examine the brighter spots in product shelves, strategic development priorities and the latest market dynamics. Last year, we published our Asia Fund Selector 2024 edition, demonstrating the dedication and contribution of a number of fund selection leaders. We are excited to host our delegates for what promises to be an interesting and interactive discussion.

Income: take it or leave it
Investors often assume that income strategies sacrifice growth, but we believe they can serve as the core of a well-balanced portfolio. Our Global Equity Enhanced Income strategy delivers a 6% p.a. yield by combining high dividend-paying equities with options, ensuring consistent income without compromising total return.
We’ll discuss how our proprietary stock selection model seeks out attractively valued, high-quality companies with good market support to create a portfolio of solid companies with sustainable dividends while also preserving diversification across styles, sectors and regions.
By selectively including up to 10% non-dividend payers, we can access growth opportunities within the universe to help boost our overall total return.
Whether investors want to reinvest their income for compounding or withdraw it for cash flow, our approach provides a versatile solution that allows investors to decide whether to take it or leave it.
Workshop Objectives: Showcase why GEEI fund can fit into clients’ portfolios under current market conditions, highlighting how our approach balances income generation, capital growth, and diversification to create a resilient, all-weather portfolio that can quite literally last a lifetime.

Beyond Boundaries: The Power of Unconstrained Bond Strategies
This presentation explores Allspring’s differentiated approach to flexible fixed income investing and why it delivers more. More opportunistic. More diversified. More consistent. This unique approach to global fixed income investing has not only delivered superior risk-adjusted returns but done so consistently over different types of market environments and cycles.
We'll also show why it’s the ideal time to revisit flexible fixed income strategies. Recent market volatility has exposed the risks of certain types of approaches that were not evident just a few years ago. We’ll also discuss the hidden risks emanating from the unusual and extreme asset concentration in this segment of the fixed income market.
Workshop Objective:
1. Understand the key components of a multi-sector fixed income investment process, including security selection, sector allocation, and risk management techniques.
2. Analyse the relative value and risk-return characteristics of major fixed income sectors, such as government bonds, corporate credit, high yield, emerging markets, and securitized products.
3. Evaluate the current market environment and economic factors influencing various fixed income sectors.

With decades of trusted experience propelling us forward, we strive to build portfolios aimed at generating successful outcomes for our clients.
