Citywire South East Retreat 2025

Welcome to Citywire’s South East Retreat at Goodwood House on 22 – 23 May 2025.

What better backdrop than the beautiful Goodwood estate to network with peers in your region, listen to brilliant keynote speakers, and to attend fascinating investment workshops that are sure to have an impact on any upcoming decisions with your fund allocation. Add in great food and the potential to earn up to 8 hours of CPD, and it really has all the makings for an event that you do not want to miss out on!

We will be kick-starting this year’s event with Steven Swinford, Political Editor for The Times. Steven will be giving his insight on the current political climate and the state of affairs for both the incumbent government and the prospects for the opposition.

Following a delicious lunch, Strategic Planning Specialist for the use of AI, Walter Pasquarelli, will be engaging in a riveting fireside discussion with Citywire’s Steven Chatterton. During this discussion, they will look to give further thoughts on how artificial intelligence has become such a prominent topic for conversation and how further advancements could impact the world.

Day one ends in style with a drinks reception and another chance to enjoy the culinary abilities of Goodwood House, before comedian Tom Lucy provides the laughs to end the night on a resounding high.

To finish off our time in Sussex, Be Human First Ltd’s CEO, Jaz Ampaw-Farr, will be giving her advice on ambitious resilience and wellbeing, honing in on the importance of authenticity. Here she will help to identify factors that can enhance your wellbeing and enable you to follow ambitions with more clarity.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of the retreat, you will:

  •     Critique the effectiveness of market-leading investment strategies in navigating the current economic landscape, identifying key strengths and potential risks.
  •       Analyze the impact of AI advancements on both personal and professional environments, and assess how these changes influence decision-making and productivity
  •       Develop strategies to build resilience and enhance wellbeing, applying these techniques to achieve professional and personal ambitions more effectively

As with all of our Retreats, attendance is strictly by invitation only.

Due to the success of last year, we are expecting a high level of demand and with limited spaces, there is no time like the present to register!

We hope to see you in May.
