Aiming to deliver consistent alpha in a passive world
Over the past twenty years, passive management has experienced strong growth, resulting in a high demand for liquidity on the part of passive market players. During index rebalancing, this creates price discrepancies, and therefore opportunities for investors.
Our Equity Market Neutral strategy aims to deliver positive absolute returns by taking long and short positions on worldwide equity indices and their constituents, to benefit from short to medium term pricing inefficiencies.
Workshop Objective: The workshop will allow investors to discover a so-called market-neutral strategy which has more than twenty years of delivering alpha and which is based on opportunities arising from the growth of passive management.
Company Profile: Candriam has managed alternative investments since 1996, with €4.2bn AUM (as of January 2024) and 34 dedicated investment professionals. All strategies are available in UCITS funds and available on platforms such as All Funds, MFEX and Clearstream.
Candriam is a global asset manager with over $150 billion in assets under management, over 25 years of experience and more than 500 employees servicing over 20 countries.
