Where strategy meets altitude: Park City RIA CIO Summit 2026
From Nashville’s Music City to Napa’s wine country, Citywire events are known for iconic destinations - and this time, we’re taking you to the mountains.
Join us on March 24–25 at the Pendry Park City in Utah for a day and a half of curated fund manager workshops, high-value networking, and insights from leading speakers.
It wouldn’t be a true mountain escape without time on the slopes. If you’re staying on, we will be hosting an optional ski day on Thursday the 26th, an easy-going way to connect, unwind, and enjoy the alpine air together.
Who should attend? This summit is designed for RIA CIOs, analysts, and investment committee members involved in manager research and third-party fund selection.
What can I expect? Attendees will sit down in small-group fund manager workshops alongside 2-3 other analysts and CIOs. You will get the chance to grill fund managers on the strategies they are presenting and to hear what your peers in due diligence are asking in their fund manager meetings.
The event will also feature keynote speakers, a panel session, and plenty of time to network with your fellow investment researchers.
Cost to attend: Free for qualified analysts and manager researchers. Citywire covers travel and accommodation.

Seán Villanueva O'Driscoll
Big Wall Climber who completed the first solo ascent of the Fitz Traverse, Patagonia, in 2021
Keynote Speaker
Wednesday, March 25, 09:30AM - 10:30AM
Seán started sport climbing in Belgium at the age of 13 and progressed to what is now his specialty, free climbing big walls and off-width cracks in preferably harsh conditions. He grew an affinity for mammoth objectives and virgin walls in remote and harsh locations: Patagonia, Pakistan, Baffin Island, Greenland. For Seán, expeditions, climbing, and the lifestyle are about enjoying the full experience, not single moves, or chasing grades. He believes he didn’t choose to climb – climbing chose him. O’Driscoll received a Piolet d’Or for a 2010 expedition to Greenland along with three climbing partners. The Piolets d’Or awards is to raise awareness about the year’s greatest ascents across the world. They aim to celebrate the taste for adventure, the bravery and sense of exploration that lie behind the art of climbing in the world’s great mountain ranges. In this award-winning venture, the team established nine new big wall routes, most of which were started from a sailboat dubbed “Dodo’s Delight.”
He made the first reverse ascent of the Fitz Traverse in 2021. This was only the second time that these iconic spires of Patagonia have been climbed in its entirety in a single push, and the first solo. The Fitz Traverse follows the skyline of Cerro Fitz Roy and its six satellite peaks. For those not familiar with the iconic mountain range, it is the emblem for the clothing company Patagonia. The traverse consists of 13,000 feet of vertical gain over the four-mile span of the massif. Prior to this enormous undertaking, only Tommy Caldwell (of the documentary 'The Dawn Wall') and Alex Honnold (of 'Free Solo') had managed to complete the traverse as a pair.
