The Setup for Value Domestic and Abroad
The Federal Reserve’s Zero Interest Rate Policy, which was a powerful force fuelling the last decade of strong performance in growth assets and asset flows in passive strategies, has effectively come to an end. Regime changes are rarely swift and short lived, they take time to settle in, which means the next decade for investors isn’t likely to be the same. From this starting point we believe the setup for Value and Active Management is as attractive as it has been in recent years both domestically and abroad.
Workshop Objectives: Connect with decision makers at various allocators who are considering allocating to value equities or increasing their position within value equities and are looking for a genuine value manager.
Company Profile: Founded in 1995, Boston Partners is a global investment firm specializing in value equity and equity long/short. As of August 2023, the firm manages $95B in client assets.
Our experienced team follows a disciplined value oriented, research driven investment philosophy, informed by a set of fundamental truths that have been tested over time and across various market cycles.
Through this consistent and repeatable investment approach we successfully managed strategies across all geographies, the market capitalization spectrum, and long/short equities.
Clients can access to our strategies via mutual funds, SMA/UMA, CITs, and institutional separate accounts.

Is the cash king about to be dethroned…why now for global fixed income
The past two years have been exceptionally challenging for fixed income investors. Spiralling inflation led to one of the most aggressive rate-hiking cycles on record, however, we believe the market for bonds is now looking much healthier.
But, while bonds are once again finding their form, investors have found themselves sitting on cash balances of 30% to 50%. This capital preservation trade has made perfect sense. But does it still make sense as we reach terminal rates? The opportunity cost right now of having no duration, and therefore no chance of future capital gains, could be doing a disservice to clients.
In our presentation we will outline why now for Fixed Income and why staying in cash could cost you dearly over the next three to five years.
Workshop Objectives: To help the audience understand why now is the right time to allocate to fixed income and why staying in cash will cost you.
Company Profile: TwentyFour Asset Management is a specialist fixed income fund manager, headquartered in the city of London and a boutique of the Swiss based Vontobel Group. Since inception in 2008, TwentyFour has built an enviable reputation for performance, expertise, and innovation in its chosen sector.

This allows us to concentrate on delivering the best outcomes for our clients. We currently have $21.6bn in assets under management (as at 10/31/2023). Discuss our framework for effectively navigating both the challenges and opportunities in international equities.
A key consideration for most long-term equity investors, is whether a business can continue to expand its returns on capital over time and consistently generate and grow economic profit. The presenters will explain why this topic trumps the “growth vs value” debate, and will share a proven investment framework for assessing the trajectory of this economic profit generation. Will also discuss the international equity environment and how to best position oneself to succeed.
