Everything's bigger in Texas –
Austin RIA CIO Summit 2026
From coast to coast, the RIA industry is rapidly evolving and it’s that time of year to honor the trailblazers leading the charge.
Join us for Citywire RIA's biggest event: the Austin RIA CIO Summit, where we aren't just talking about the future of wealth management; we’re celebrating the firms currently defining it. We’re back at the Omni Barton Creek, October 1-2 for a day and a half of due diligence sessions, educational masterclasses, keynote speakers, and awards celebrating the 50 Fastest Growing RIAs featuring the CIOs from these firms.
Who should attend? This summit is designed for RIA CIOs, analysts, and investment committee members involved in manager research and third-party fund selection.
What can I expect? Attendees will sit down in small-group fund manager workshops alongside 2-3 other analysts and CIOs. You will get the chance to grill fund managers on the strategies they are presenting and to hear what your peers in due diligence are asking in their fund manager meetings.
The event will also feature keynote speakers, masterclasses, a panel session, plenty of time to network with your fellow investment researchers, and this year's 50 Fastest Growing RIAs.
Cost to attend: Free for qualified analysts and manager researchers. Citywire covers travel and accommodation.

The Many Faces of Credit
Representatives
Given the current landscape and the many questions swirling around private credit, we believe this is a perfect opportunity to provide advisors with practical insights and various access points to different credit investment opportunitiesWe see this as a timely moment to address growing concerns and offer valuable perspective—especially as the credit market continues to evolve. . Please join us in a workshop that helps to demystify “credit” and break down complex concepts into actionable takeaways.
The Many Faces of Credit:
Private Credit has seen an incredible level of growth in the past decade, it is now a widely discussed and recognized asset class for all types of investors. While it seems that Private Credit has dominated credit-related conversations, we would be amiss if syndicated loans, high yield bond and structured credit were not included in the conversation. Credit markets are undergoing a structural transformation. Corporate issuers increasingly access multiple funding channels —moving fluidly between syndicated loans, high yield bonds, private credit, and structured markets to optimize cost, flexibility, and investor demand. As a result, the traditional boundaries between liquid and illiquid credit, public and private markets, and fixed and floating rate instruments have become increasingly blurred. For our proposed presentation, we would like to discuss the differences and similarities between these asset classes, recent trends in leveraged finance, and how an investor could best access credit opportunities.
