Speakers
Opening Panel Theme: Recalibrating the Portfolio Paradigm: Liquidity, Resilience, and Holistic Allocation
Private markets are increasingly becoming cornerstone holdings for clients, enhancing diversification and providing access to compelling growth opportunities unavailable in public markets.
The growth of evergreen funds has broadened access to a wider range of investors in this space and enhanced advisers’ toolkits. However, recent liquidity challenges within private credit funds have highlighted the long-term approach required to effectively tap into the potential of private markets.
How are advisers incorporating private markets into client portfolios—including through discretionary mandates—and ensuring resilience amid an uncertain global macroeconomic backdrop? How are they managing client perceptions and liquidity requirements?
As an increasing number of investment houses expand into alternatives, how do private client managers balance providing access to established fund managers with unearthing niche opportunities outside the mainstream to differentiate themselves?
Closing Panel Theme: Harnessing Secular Tailwinds: The AI-Energy Nexus, Space Infrastructure, and Real Asset Metamorphosis
Artificial intelligence and the burgeoning space economy are driving generational shifts, offering unparalleled investment opportunities unique to private markets.
The sheer scale of compute and the surging energy demands of AI are fuelling innovation in clean energy and smart grid technology to support data centres' immense power requirements.
How can investors tap into this theme and find long-term winners while avoiding speculative names at stretched valuations? Where are fund selectors finding opportunities in the wider AI ecosystem as demand for the technology soars? Which strategies are they backing to capitalize on the expanding orbital economy and the accelerating demand for space tech? Where are selectors finding compelling opportunities, whether in traditional drawdown strategies or direct investments?

EQT
Private Equity and Infrastructure: Evergreen Strategies for the Next Market Cycle
Speakers
Representatives
Private markets are no longer a single allocation decision; they're a set of complementary building blocks. This workshop examines three strategies that anchor a modern private markets portfolio: global private equity, Asia-focused private equity, and infrastructure. We'll explore how each contributes differently to a client portfolio — global PE for breadth and scale, Asia PE for regional growth exposure, and infrastructure for income and inflation resilience — and how combining them can improve diversification and risk-adjusted outcomes.
Advisors will gain a practical understanding of evergreen private market structures, how to position these strategies in client conversations across different market environments.
Workshop Objectives:
Participants will understand how global PE, Asia PE, and infrastructure complement each other within evergreen structures to build diversified, resilient portfolios across market cycles.
Company Profile:
EQT is a purpose-driven global investment organization with EUR 341 billion in total assets under management (EUR 186 billion in fee-generating assets under management) as of 30 June 2026, within four business segments – Private Capital, Infrastructure, Real Assets and Secondaries. EQT owns portfolio companies and assets in Europe, Asia Pacific and the Americas and supports them in achieving sustainable growth, operational excellence and market leadership.

Navigating the mid-market opportunity, secondaries, and next-gen access
Representatives
As private bank selectors pursue resilient growth and enhanced portfolio efficiency, the mid-market, representing around 96% of all buyout private equity transactions across the US and Europe, offers significant potential. This workshop explores how favorable entry valuations, vintages and GP diversification, and shorter durations position the mid-market as a core driver of operational alpha today. Additionally, we will discuss strategies to capture structural macroeconomic trends across the investment landscape, spanning from core technology and enterprise software to the physical infrastructure underlying the wider AI economy.
Workshop Objectives:
Participants will gain actionable insights into leveraging secondary strategies within evergreen structures to address traditional private wealth challenges. The workshop will also cover sustainable and practical approaches to portfolio construction aimed at optimising liquidity, minimising risk, and improving client outcomes.
