Welcome to Citywire Lisbon Briefing 2025
Following the success of the past edition, we are proud to announce that Citywire will return to Lisbon on Thursday 6 March 2025 to bring again a group of leading fund selectors together for our new Lisbon Breakfast Briefing.
Like so much of the financial world, the business of investment selection is changing faster than any of us can remember. Providing an energising start to their working day, portfolio managers and investors will meet and interact over a healthy breakfast, before we wrap up with a quickfire panel session. A sharp, clean new format that makes the very best use of everyone’s time.
We very much look forward to welcoming you in Lisbon!
The registrations for this event are now closed, if you are interested please get in touch with hgomez@citywire.co.uk and we will get back to you if a place becomes available.

Capturing opportunities in the Euro Bond market amid declining money market rates and high uncertainty
The Euro bond market looks particularly attractive.
The ECB started to cut rates and should continue as inflation decelerates in a fragile growth environment. Credit and sovereign spreads already narrowed significantly but absolute yields levels remain attractive. Yet, uncertainty remains very high on the back of political instability, geopolitical risks and tariffs threats, all of them weighting on the macroeconomic outlook. In this context, flexibility is key to navigate and diversification is a must-have.
With a high leeway in terms of duration and the ability to allocate across every Euro-denominated Fixed Income asset class, AXA WF Euro Strategic bond stands as an all-weather vehicle particularly fit to seize the current opportunities while managing multiple downside risks.
Workshop Objective:
Highlight how flexibility enabled to navigate the past couple of years of high volatility and how, coupled with diversification, it enables to seize the current opportunities within the Euro bond market while mitigating drawdowns.
