Welcome to the Citywire  ETF Forum  Zurich 2026!

As spring makes its way in, opening the door to the great outdoors, ETFs are similarly celebrated for making investing more accessible.

From passive to active wrappers, ETFs continue to be a hot topic. That is why this April, Citywire Switzerland is hosting its inaugural ETF event on 15 April at the Mandarin Oriental Savoy in Zurich.

The event will offer the opportunity to meet an array of fund managers and take part in interactive workshops. After the sessions conclude, we invite you to round off the day, or continue the conversation, at our networking drinks reception.

Please make sure to register to secure your place. We look forward to welcoming you, along with the warmer weather.

Financial markets are structurally shifting in nature and composition, with corporate and governmental investment trends having profound impacts on how assets are priced. We will explore some of the themes transforming the demand structure for metals and energy, as well as the supply side to give investors a complete picture of the landscape.

Small can be spectacular. The Jupiter Origin Global Smaller Companies Active UCITS ETF.

The Jupiter Origin team sees a constructive backdrop for global small caps and the role they can play in investors’ portfolios - both as a potential diversifier and as a way to access today’s dispersion and “hidden gem” opportunities in equity markets. In this workshop, Tarlock Randhawa, Lead Investment Manager, Jupiter Origin, will cover the benefits of a truly global, flexible remit - investing across sectors and including emerging markets - and outline the team’s evidence-led approach, which avoids forecasts and focuses on four measurable characteristics: profitability/growth, relative value, earnings revisions and momentum. Applied consistently since 2010, he will explore what that discipline can mean when seeking to capture small-cap inefficiencies, and where he and the team see alpha opportunities today across developed and emerging markets.
Marketing communication. For professional investors only. Capital is at risk.

Workshop Objectives: To understand the current opportunities within global small cap equities, and how best to access them using an evidence led, judgement enhanced approach.

Company Profile: Since Jupiter was established in 1985, we have sought to make a positive difference for our clients by helping them achieve their long-term investment objectives through high conviction, active management.
From the start we understood the need to create a distinct, entrepreneurial culture that harnessed all areas of the business in the pursuit of this goal. As a new entrant in a competitive market, we wanted our clients to experience, share and benefit from the energy and focus of a young firm, full of talented individuals, eager to distinguish itself as a trusted steward of other people’s money.
Now, many years on, we have established ourselves as a leading specialist asset manager precisely because we have retained that agility and drive as we have grown. Our value remains in our people, our ability to adapt quickly to changing markets, and in our willingness to continuously challenge ourselves to deliver the best investment outcome for clients.

Changing the Shape of Fixed Income

We apply a unique interest-rate agnostic approach which seeks to deliver superior long-term results in various market environments. We look beyond traditional metrics and apply a dynamic approach to evaluating the future total return of securities over various interest rate scenarios.
Our methodology, Shape Management, views bonds as math-based instruments, enabling potential value discovery in fixed income markets. Shape Management is the primary investment process that analyses the risk/reward profile of a bond’s future cash flows across various interest rate scenarios, while also considering other drivers of total return in fixed income.
With 30 years of proven results, our Shape Management methodology uncovers opportunities by applying a bottom-up approach that aims to exploit pricing and structural inefficiencies.

Workshop Objectives: Highlight the shortcomings of traditional fixed income metrics and present our “Moneyball” solution: Shape Management.

Company Profile: PTAM is a privately owned, Chicago based boutique fixed income asset manager founded in 2008. PTAM prides itself on its bottom up, math based methodology called Shape Management, which is designed to overcome the shortcomings of traditional metrics used in fixed income decision making. The genesis of Shape Management is to help educate investors about these shortcomings and assist them in making better investment decisions. We have been bond educators for three decades. Our objective is simple: we strive to provide excess return for investors over time, regardless of interest rate movements.
