Tomasz Bortnik, Head of Wealth Specialist Advisory at Citibank UAE will be grilling fund managers and getting their insights into the markets. He will lead the discussion, with sponsoring asset managers, in what will be a unique and insightful debate across several key investment sectors.

Tomasz Bortnik
Tomasz Bortnik (Director) heads the Wealth Management Specialist Advisory Team for Citigold and Citi Private Client Segments based in Dubai, UAE. He has been with Citibank UAE since 2014 and prior to that with Citibank London since 2005 in various senior regional roles in Citibank EMEA consumer wealth management.
Tomasz also has consulting experience from Consulting company, Accenture (Germany), and earlier Accenture (Poland).
He specialises in Wealth Management advisory and solutions, products, processes, technology and has experience with x-country engagements, implementations, management of investment products, banking, FX, securities backed lending and insurance.
Tomasz has a master’s degree in finance and banking from the Warsaw School of Economics. He also studied in Germany. Tomasz is accredited as promotion manager by the UAE Securities & Commodities Authority and is a member of UBF’s Wealth Management Group (UAE Banking Federation).

Michael Lippert, Head of Technology Research and Portfolio Manager. Michael joined Baron Capital in 2001 as a research analyst and was named portfolio manager of Baron Opportunity Fund in 2006 and Baron Technology Fund in 2021. In 2020, he was named Head of Technology Research. He has 23 years of research experience. In 2001, he worked at JLF Asset Management as a financial analyst and general counsel. From 1991 to 2001, he worked at Baker & Botts as a trial partner. Michael graduated summa cum laude from Tufts University with a B.A. in History in 1988 and from Columbia Law School with a J.D. in 1991.
