Citywire Alternatives & Private Markets Europe Retreat 2024
You’re invited to join Citywire Alternatives & Private Markets Europe Retreat, taking place February 8 and 9 at the Steigenberger Wiltcher's in Brussels.
Market volatility and inflation have made alternatives top of mind for many analysts, and sparked new searches across the asset class.
That’s why we're bringing together top asset management firms to present their alternative strategies, and to explain the ways they’re exploiting opportunities in the private asset realm.
During the two-day event, analysts will get the chance to sit down with fund managers and grill them alongside their manager research peers.
But it’s not all; the event also features stellar keynote speakers as well as plenty of time to network with fellow due diligence experts from across Europe.
We very much hope that you can join us in Brussels!
The registrations for this event are now closed, if you are interested please get in touch with EuroResearchTeam@citywire.co.uk and we will get back to you if a place becomes available.

Investing through the cycle with Australian Private Debt
• Most Australian corporates cannot access the bond market and Private Debt is the main source of finance, predominantly from the 4 major domestic banks.
• The risk adjusted return from a direct lending strategy in Australia is favourable compared to global markets, but it is a difficult market to access.
• Private lenders benefit from a range of protections which has led to historically low credit loss rates in Australia. The corporate insolvency regime is highly favourable to lenders and returns from Private Debt have historically been very stable.
